Prior to the Manchester derby, Van Gaal’s United face Liverpool at Old Trafford for the decisive second leg of the Europa League round of 16 tie.
Juan Mata served his one-match suspension in Manchester United’s 1 – 1 draw against West Ham. The Spaniard will be available for selection and there could be more good news for Old Trafford faithful as the skipper Wayne Rooney might be ready to make his comeback after the international break.
There could be managerial changes at both the clubs in the summer. It will be interesting to see which manager will reign supreme in the last Manchester derby prior to the possible Mourinho – Guardiola era in Manchester.
