Southampton will also be looking for more points, in case they fall into the relegation zone but this is quite unlikely as there are many teams who are below them. Their season has been quite patchy but in their last 2 matches, they managed to beat 2 top sides playing at home, Liverpool 3-1 and Chelsea 2-1.
Predictions
I predict Southampton will win this match as I don’t see Reading winning this. I believe this match will be tough though, as most teams fighting for relegation will have nothing to lose and will be trying their best to get the points. Southampton has had surprising results lately and should win this match.
