Honduras v USA Football Match – 06.02.2013 – World Cup Qualification Match Preview

Honduras v USA football match will be in 06.02.2013 at San Pedro Sula for World Cup Qualification. The match will start at 21:00 with GMT. Honmduras National Football Team had good performance at UNCAF Nations Cup and they deserved to play final but they have lost against hosting team Costa Rica at Final. That was a good result for Honduras National Football Team. They got 2 draws in group stages, They have beaten Belize in semi final and they lost against Costa Rica in final. Head coach Luis Fernando Suárez has called up his ideal squad for match against USA. Noel Valladares, Maynor Figueroa, Víctor Bernárdez, Osman Chávez, Jorge Claros, Óscar García, Roger Espinoza, Carlo Costly, Jerry Bengtson will be in Honduras squad. Especially goalkeeper Noel Valladares, Maynor Figueroa, Carlo Costly, Óscar García and Roger Espinoza are very valuable players of Honduras. I believe their performance will affect match result. Emilio Izaguirre from Celtic, Wilson Palacios from Stoke City hasn’t been called by head coach. Honduras has beaten Canada National Football Team with 8-1 in their last match in WQ CONCACAF.

USA National Football Team has many good players in their squad. Tim Howard from Everton, Michael Bradley from Roma, Oguchi Onyewu from Malaga, Landon Donovan from LA Galaxy will be in USA squad. USA National Football Team has met with Honduras at 2009 for a WQ match and USA won 3-2 against Honduras in an away match. I don’t think that they have same strength at the moment but USA is still strong team of CONCACAF and they will join World Cup 2014.
